TBC and developer “Bani 2007” have signed a memorandum to build a 112-room Hilton Garden Inn near Borjomi Park, featuring conference halls, outdoor pools, and several restaurants. The hotel is set to open in 2027, with total project costs exceeding GEL 30 million, including TBC financing of GEL 12 million and co-financing through the “Business Universal” program of the “Enterprise Georgia” agency.
This marks Bani 2007’s second hospitality project, and the construction will create around 80 jobs, while post-opening, about 100 locals will be employed. TBC emphasizes that such projects support regional economic development and tourism; the bank’s hospitality portfolio totals GEL 1.2 billion, with GEL 210 million added over the past three years.
The project also benefits from Enterprise Georgia’s interest-subsidized financing, strengthening long-term financial stability. Officials highlight that international brand entry into Georgia boosts investment attractiveness, stimulates local business activity, and contributes to regional economic growth.
