Hotel Price Index Up By15.8% In August Y-O-Y
PMC Research Centre published a report on Hotel Price Index in August. According to the research center, hotel price index increased by 1.4% in August compared to July, while compared to the same period last year, the hotel price index increased by 15.8%.
According to the document, in Georgia, the average cost of a room in a 3-star hotel was GEL 182 night in August 2022, while the average cost of a room in a 4-star hotel in Georgia was GEL 284 per night and the average cost of a room in a guesthouse was GEL 122 per night.
The average cost of a room in a 5-star hotel in Georgia in August 2022 was GEL 510 per night. In Guria, the average price was GEL 727, followed by Kakheti -GEL 569, Adjara - GEL 547 and Tbilisi - GEL 538.
