Poti Seaport handled 272,178 TEU containers in the first half of 2024. According to the data of APM Terminals Poti, from January 2024 until today, most of the containers were processed in May amounting to 53 129 TEU containers. The annual decrease made up 7.6%. In 6M2023, 294,676 units of containers were processed, while in 6M2022 - 166,990 TEU containers.

According to the data of 2Q2024, the number of car processing is also increasing. In total, from the beginning of 2024 until today, 39,762 vehicles were processed in the port, this is almost a record figure for 2023 (6M2023 - 40,504 units).
Compared to May, the amount of general cargo also increased in June.
From the beginning of 2024 to date, APM Terminals Poti has handled 120,144 tons of general cargo, including 82,863 tons of cargo in the second quarter alone.
As of the data of the owner of the largest port of Georgia, in 6 months of 2024, the port received 158 container ships (6M2023: 167 ships, 2022 - 98 ships).
