During the first three months of 2024, Armenia welcomed 924.9 thousand people from abroad, while 924.6 thousand left the country.
According to the Statistical Committee, during this period, the migration balance turned positive, reaching 283 people, in stark contrast to the negative balance recorded the previous year (-12 thousand).
During the same period, 421.4 thousand Armenian citizens returned to the country, while 411.7 thousand people left its borders. This led to an increase in the positive migration balance to 9650 people (compared to 510 the previous year).
