The ban on the export of oil products from Kazakhstan is planned to be extended until the end of 2022, said Roman Sklyar, First Deputy Prime Minister.
“In order to maintain the balance of oil products in the domestic market, work is underway to prolong the ban on petroleum products export from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan until the end of 2022. To exclude the facts of limited sales of fuels and lubricants,a constant forecast and analysis of the impact of prices, supply and demand on the domestic market of the republic is being carried out," he said.
In his words, today all oil refineries "are working in routine mode with daily production of light oil products with subsequent shipment to the domestic market,” KazTag reports.
During current year, Kazakhstan is going to import 825,000 tons of fuels and lubricants from Russia.
“According to the indicative balances, the supply of imports from Russia for 2022 is provided in the following volumes: gasoline up to 5 thousand tons, diesel fuel - 520 thousand tons, jet fuel - 300 thousand tons,” Sklyar said.
Within four months of 2022, the volume of imports amounted to: diesel fuel - 66 thousand tons, jet fuel - 31 thousand tons, KazTag reports.
