Russia is going to allocate $30.8 billion for railway projects in Kazakhstan.
“Russia may allocate $30.8 billion for the development of foreign projects for the construction of railway infrastructure in Kazakhstan, Mongolia and China until 2030,” Kazakh agency KazTag reports with reference to Russian Vedomosti.
The publication notes that the authenticity of the document was confirmed by a source close to the Ministry of Transport of Russia.
It is also specified that it is planned to build three new railway checkpoints across the state border of Russia with neighboring states, 369 km of tracks in Russia and 3,000 km of railways in Kazakhstan, Mongolia and China, KazTag reports.
