The General Director of TBC Bank states that the financial institution annually invests hundreds of millions in technological development. Vakhtang Butskhrikidze stated this on TV-program “Business Morning”.
The General Manager of TBC says that in the next 3-5 years, their goal is to become a fully technological company, because in the era of rapidly developing technologies, the bank will be able to offer new products and services to customers.
“We meaningfully and thoughtfully invest hundreds of millions of dollars every year and prepare the groundwork for various areas of technology to achieve this result.
Over the past 10 years, digitalization has changed the banking sector worldwide, and the relationship between banks and customers has radically changed. Now, in the team, we think that the ongoing changes in terms of AI may be a whole new level that will take everything to a radically new stage. Testing is underway. The main thing is to believe and be prepared for this,” Butskhrikidze says.
According to him, 4,000 of TBC’s 12,000 employees work in the technology sector, and the next 3-5 years will be an important stage in the company’s transformation.
