Tbilisi City Hall intends to rehabilitate OrtachalHPP Bridge on the Mtkvari River. The tender for the rehabilitation works was announced on May 1.
The estimated cost of the procurement is 1,831,208 GEL.
The deadline for applying is 45 calendar days from the date of entry into force of the contract, and the deadline for submitting construction works is 90 calendar days from the date of issuance of the written order in accordance with the calendar plan-schedule of the works.
The acceptance of proposals begins on May 17 and ends on May 22.
The OrtachalHPP Bridge was built on the Mtkvari River in the 1950s and was put into operation in 1954. The HPP operates on natural flow without regulation. The installed capacity of the HPP is 18.0 MW, while electricity generation amounts to 90.0 million kWh.
