During a briefing with journalists at the National Assembly on April 4, Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan announced that the upcoming meeting between the EU, US, and Armenia in Brussels will focus on economic and humanitarian issues.

He also expressed dissatisfaction with the conflicting comments from other states regarding this meeting scheduled for April 5, as well as with the heightened expectations within Armenian society.

Responding to a question about the possible demand for Armenia to reconsider its relations with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and to withdraw from the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Kostanyan emphasized that such demands had not been officially made.

Earlier, BMG reported that a meeting would take place in Brussels on April 5 between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken. It is reported that the meeting will discuss ways of trilateral cooperation to promote the development of Armenia.
