The Patarkatsishvili family has sold the former wool factory site in Tbilisi’s Didube district, one of the family’s major real estate assets. The sale became known after Biograpi Living announced plans to develop a new residential neighborhood and multifunctional complex on the 11-hectare property, with a planned investment of $500 million.
Biograpi Living said an internationally recognized architecture and design studio will work on the project’s architectural and design concept. The company said the development will take into account the site’s historical and modern urban context and combine residential and commercial functions with spaces integrated into the city’s daily life.
The former wool factory, also known as the wool-and-worsted factory, was acquired by Badri Patarkatsishvili in the 1990s following its privatization. The property is owned by Maudi LLC, which was managed by members of the Patarkatsishvili family until August 2026, with Badri Patarkatsishvili’s sister Nana Patarkatsishvili serving on its supervisory board.
Since August 20, 2026, Maudi LLC’s supervisory board mandate has ended and Vasil Pkhakadze has served as its director. Pkhakadze also holds director positions at several Biograpi Living companies. The registered owner of Maudi LLC remains Gibraltar-based Lanner Holdings Limited. Part of the former factory site currently houses the Gorgia hypermarket.
