Keso Makharadze, the founder of the agritourism facility "Taberne in Guria - Atsana" located in the village of Atsana, Lanchkhuti municipality in Guria, told BM.GE that due to heavy snowfall, the situation in the region is unbearable.
According to her, at this moment there is more than 2 meters of snow in the region, nothing has passed on the central road for 5 days, the road is not being cleared, they have no electricity, and today they have run out of drinking water as well.
"The situation in the region is unbearable. Due to heavy snowfall, we have been in isolation for more than a week. Movement has stopped. We have no electricity and today we no longer have drinking water either. Nothing is being cleaned. Nothing has passed on the central road for 5 days. I had a neighbor with heart disease who died this morning due to stress. Even in our worst nightmares, we couldn't imagine the situation that is happening to me now. At this moment, the situation is extremely difficult. It's a matter of survival", - says the founder of the agritourism facility.
According to her, more than 40 houses have been destroyed due to snow in Lanchkhuti municipality.
