According to the press service of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia, as a result of additional checks on companies, a total of 15.2 billion drams (approximately $37.5 million) were collected.
Of this amount, 11.8 billion drams were obtained from the verification of enterprise transactions, while the remaining 3.3 billion drams were collected after auditing financial documents.
This is an 18% increase compared to the same period last year when tax authorities collected an additional 12.6 billion drams (over $31 million).
The State Revenue Committee also reported the number of officially employed workers in the country, which, according to the agency's data, increased by 4.7% by the end of February 2024, reaching 725,051 people.
