The Roads Department of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Georgia has announced temporary restrictions on heavy truck movement due to road rehabilitation works.
From October 5 to 7, 2025, truck traffic will be restricted on the km1–km41 section of the Gomi–Sachkhere–Chiatura–Zestafoni road, which is classified as a road of internal state importance.
According to the Department, the restriction is linked to ongoing rehabilitation works on the km25–km41 section of the route.
Movement for light and other motor vehicles remains unrestricted, and drivers are advised to plan travel accordingly.
