Former Mountain Resorts Development Agency (MTA) Director General Irakli Burchuladze earned GEL 129,000 in salary in 2025 while serving in the position, according to his latest asset declaration. This was down from GEL 131,319 in 2024. Burchuladze headed the agency from 2022 until July 2026, when he left the position.
According to the declaration, Burchuladze made a GEL 30,000 donation last year, although the recipient is not specified. He also earned GEL 45,480 from rental income, while his wife, Nino Akhvlediani, received $100,000 from the sale of real estate.
Burchuladze owns a 50% stake in Rentex Capital, from which he received GEL 52,386 in income last year. He also owns two cars: a Kia Carnival purchased for €28,000 in 2021 and a Porsche Cayenne bought for €50,000 in 2024.
His declared real estate includes an 86 sq. m. apartment in Batumi, two apartments of 39 sq. m. and 46 sq. m. in Kaishauri village, Dusheti Municipality, a 134 sq. m. apartment on Kostava Street in Tbilisi, and a 17 sq. m. plot of land in Tabakhmela.
