GD Deputy Minister of Economy and former head of Georgia’s National Tourism Administration, Mariam Kvrivishvili, has disclosed her latest asset declaration, revealing significant personal and family wealth, business activity, and luxury possessions.
The declaration, dated April 30, 2025, became publicly accessible after a six-month delay due to a technical issue at the Anti-Corruption Bureau.
Kvrivishvili personally owns a 147-square-meter apartment on Pavle Aslanidi Street in Tbilisi, purchased for USD 98,000, and a 1,047-square-meter land plot in Tsavkisi, acquired in 2022 for USD 139,251. According to previous declarations, the land plot was not part of her assets in 2019.
Her spouse, Otar Berishvili, has also expanded his property portfolio. He now owns three apartments in Tbilisi (two on Niaghvari Street and one on Bakhtrioni Street) with a total declared value of USD 208,000, a non-residential space (privatized, listed at 0 GEL), and an additional 109.75-square-meter apartment on Bakhtrioni Street bought for USD 68,000.
Kvrivishvili declared ownership of a 2018 BMW X6, purchased for USD 60,000. Her luxury item list includes two Rolex watches (one received as a gift), and a Cartier bracelet and ring, collectively valued at USD 10,500.
Kvrivishvili maintains business ties, holding a 10% share in “Voyager” LLC and a 30% share in “Airline Representation Group” LLC. Her 2025 declaration reveals GEL 158,000 in annual income from Voyager alone.
Meanwhile, Berishvili’s business involvement has grown significantly, now listed as a shareholder and director in multiple companies, including 100% ownership of “Prfunctori” LLC.
The deputy minister still carries a USD 41,000 consumer loan dating back to her earlier declarations. She also signed a USD 60,000 car purchase agreement and took out a GEL 57,000 loan in 2022 tied to the land acquisition in Tsavkisi.
Her declaration also includes:
- USD 11,975 in rental income from real estate,
- GEL 22,000 in travel expenses,
- GEL 10,000 listed as financial assistance,
- and other personal expenses on clothing and repairs.
