Russia - 1,476 tons, worth of USD 4.5 million;
Ukraine - 430 tons, worth of USD 1.8 million;
Turkey - 348 tons, worth of USD 1.7 million;
Italy - 180 tons, worth of USD 675;
Croatia - 134 tons, worth of USD 657 thousand.
In 2024, Georgia also purchased 21 tons of cocoa paste worth of 94 thousand USD, 540 kg cocoa oil worth of USD 7.1 thousand and 209 tons of cocoa powder worth of USD 799.9 thousand.
The price of cocoa on the world market reached a record high of USD 8,027, which means an increase of 193% compared to last year and 36% compared to the previous month.
