In 2025, Georgia imported 277 tons of candles, wax tapers, and similar products worth $1.5 million. Official data shows a slight increase in import costs compared to 2024, when nearly the same volume cost $1.454 million.
China remains Georgia’s largest candle supplier, exporting 197 tons worth $889,000 last year. Other major import partners include Poland ($90,500), Bulgaria ($85,000), Belgium ($83,000) and Turkey ($54,000).
In the first quarter of 2026, Georgia imported 45 tons of candles valued at $290,500, also marking a small year-over-year increase. So far this year, the leading supplier countries are China, Bulgaria, and Germany.
